Capability Brown Inspiration Environment Images

In the above image (left) Capability Brown uses the vegetation on the edge of the river as a vocal vanishing point.  I have tried to recreate this vocal/vanishing point through lining a channel of water with vegetation in my environment, as well as using his image framing/capturing techniques.

In a lot of Brown's images he uses a great deal of low perspective view angles.  I have taken this into consideration when i captured the image of the wrecked car, which is gradually revealed as you look up the image.

In the above image (top left) Capability Brown uses man made structures such as the bridge and folly as a way to frame an image.  I have adapted Browns framing technique by  using dilapidated structures within my environment specifically placed to create a realistic and evocative framed image.

In this image i took Brown's concept of using a building as a distant feature, a focal feature that is revealed through the foreground of the trees.
